FOR SALE: Bandwagon, empty, Low mileage but has been ridden hard and was overloaded at times. served as transportation for several celebrities and media pundits as well as several million joe fans. Needs work. wheels have come off, and the steering tends to pull toward the ditch. Front end needs straightening, transmission is hung in reverse and the ride is not smooth. Needs new paint, was sideswiped on Christmas and has an ugly green dent in the side. Was used most recently to haul migrant workers. Would make a great conversation piece, or a great fixer-upper for the passionate fan. Make an offer.

Contact Valley Ranch for more information.

I agree the "bandwagon" is one of the most overrated and overused terms in sports. Does that mean you have to blindly follow and hope your team does well and are never critical when the do bad? When the Bengals were losing everything in sight during the 90s and not filling there stadium, were their fans not to say anything critical of the team. Would they would not be on the "bandwagon"? And the full stadium they have now does that mean there are 30,000 new fans there every week that are "bandwagon" fans that weren't there during the 90s. I can understand if Bengals fans didn't want to go to every game and get their brains blown out for the better part of a decade, but I guess they are "bandwagon" fans. I can't wait to tell the next patient that doesn't like what I have to say that they are "jumping off the bandwagon". It will be awesome.

enough of what is the question.

Zimmer? yes
Parcells? one more year. He's rebuilt us to the point of competitivness. If a new DC cannot get better results and next year is same ole same ole, then we need to move on IMO.

Losing, enept losing.

Define competitive for me, I don't think we agree on the definition.

well, we're 9-6 and in playoff contention for the third time in four years.
Does that mean we're elite Super Bowl contenders? Nope. We've apparently a ways to go in that regard.

We're not a losing team under Parcells, nor an elite one. Merely above-average.

I've been a fan for nearly 20 years.I'm nowhere near that point. Hell I remember waking up every morning in 1989 at age 6 hoping we would win that day. We of course, won once that year. If that doesn't discourage a fan that I don't know what will.

We have improved over the Campo era for sure. The question is, can Parcells take us to the next step? That, I don't know but am willing to give him a shot in 07 minus Zimmer.

What bandwagon? No one's going anywhere. We criticize because we love.

After molesting our defense, Jeff Garcia turned the Cowboys' bandwagon into a pink BMW Beetle that he rode off in with Elton John and Richard Simmons.

Nay, we rebuke in love and ridicule when in disgust. Right now rebuke has turned to disgust.

And when we win by 3 against Detroit, or worse, lose to them, then what?

Band Wagon? The definition does not apply to most on this board.

They may Question, complain, gripe, cuss, and probably at times are down right insulting on how our team is playing.

This in my opinion does not equal a bandwagoner.

A large percent of the people here spend 4-8 hours a day discussing this team. I ask you, how can anyone that spends this amount of time and effort debating and discussing their favorite team ever be accused of being a bandwagon fan?

Then we have a problem But what am I going to do about it?

Write a post saying "I've had enough of this team"? HELL NO.

It's no fun watching a game thinking we suck and will lose. I don't care who we're playing if we have success I'll be rooting my Boys on. You can put on this negative charade all you want, but you know you'll be watching and cheering for them come Sunday.

:hammer:

Bandwagoners are those who write posts saying they will stop cheering for us every time we lose.

After 10 years of sucking and losing, it's harder to watch a game and NOT feel hopeless anymore.
