FRISCO, Texas -- For the second straight game, the Dallas Cowboys will see a referee for the second time this season with Tony Corrente working Thursday’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Craig Wrolstad worked the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day win against the Washington Commanders after calling the Week 3 win against the Chicago Bears. Corrente worked the Week 5 win against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This is the seventh time since 2010 the Cowboys have had Corrente as the referee and they are 4-2 in the previous six meetings. As successful as they have been with Corrente calling the games, they have been on the wrong end of penalties.

Lots of those penalties were false starts...delay of game...offside. Not a lot the referees can do about that
It is the judgement calls, holding or interference etc. that you have to watch for.

Never knew this was a thing I wonder how often this happens? Hopefully this is not pertinent to the game itself. This is a good defense much like Baltimores.

The NFL needs to put a Beasley ref in the game, his job is to just watch Beasley and everytime his helmet gets twisted backwards, he needs to call facemasking. Poor Beasley, a few times I thought he was dead out there and still no flag.

I'm not sure how effective any referee can be if the refs are blind. Beasley's helmet twist was not obstructed from every ref's vantage point but no ref threw a flag. Daredevil would've seen the penalty. Stevie Wonder probably prayed Beasley's neck wasn't broken. Some non-calls are ridiculous but the lack of a flag that time was downright bizarre.
