For some reason Ashton Jeanty reminds of Trent Richardson

If McMillan is there, I have no problem with that pick. Possibly the only receiver other than Hunter that I'd take at 12.

I'm kind of hoping we address receiver in FA or through a trade (like we did with Cooks) because I really want us to address RB and DT in the first two rounds. We have three "standout" needs to me and saying we're going to be able to fix any of them in Round 3 is asking a lot. We may get lucky there, but it's just not a round where you expect to get an instant starter. You hope it, but expecting it is how you end up with failure.

You make great points . 3 is a round you may or may not strike gold . I think unless you trade up McMillian is gone at 12 . One mock had him going 4 and cementing a Maye to McMillian connection for years .

Defense and RB is a good way to go in April .

He’s more Ray Rice / Mercedes Lewis imo.

Trent Richardson was a giant RB.

I don't see the comparison. Jeanty has real vision and sees the lanes and is almost impossible for one person to take down. His speed and short shuttle timing will be important. His legs are powerful.

They are about as different as two players can get. They both have dreads. That’s about where the similarities end.

Dreadlocks and both seem to be football players here on Earth. After that, there's no other similarities. Jeanty is an all world superstar. Richardson, no.

he looks like a smaller Derrick henry, both are very patient at the LOS but hit the afterburners when they see daylight, its amazing Henry still has speed while guys like Zeke were toast long time ago and they both were from the same draft

What about him reminds you of Richardson? Richardson failed because he didn't have poor vision. He had no vision. Ive been critical of Jeanty but he has exceptional vision.

If Trent Richardson tried to run from Texas to California, he'd run right into the back of Tennessee
Remember Bama used to sub him out after a few carries
OP's post history is only trolling type threads.

It is crazy looking at the careers of Richardson and Henry. Both were studs in college. A man amongst boys. Richardson comes to the pros and looks like he never ran the ball before after being the 3rd pick in the draft. Did that impact Henry's stock in the draft? Alabama running backs have been some hits, some misses. Henry is a second round pick and 8 years later looks just as good.

I think Jeanty is good. I am out on drafting him in round 1. Dallas is in a downward trend. It is going to take 3-4 years of good moves to be back imo. I know teams can turn around quickly, but it won't be Dallas. So, I want a player who I will be confident who will be in their prime in 3-4 years. I just don't feel confident that is Jeanty with his running style.
