Chill.

Yes Tony's a touch off on the long throws right now. Yes the defense looks a step late- again. Yes Bobby Carpenter is horrid. Yes our kick coverage is atrocious right now. Yes- Apparently the team has ignored ball security the entire training camp.

Who cares. These are all eminently fixable problems. I think Tony is poised for a huge season once he gets a bit of his touch back. His arm looks incredibly strong this year. And the play call on the INT tonight wouldn't even be called in the reg season with MBIII in the backfield on 2nd and goal at the 1. Please.

I will say that there seems something a little off right now with the Cowboys... but let's not forget the Giants looked out of whack last year for 8 weeks. This team WILL win football games. We haven't schemed anyone yet. We have alot of talent, and it will come alive.

Of all problems the one that is most disconcerting is Kick Coverage. It's baffling why we hemmorage yardage on KO's and punts. That said, I don't see anything less than a 10 win season.

If the Cowboys want to be the team that everyone thinks they can be, they clearly have work to do. And that's ok. That's what the 16 weeks of the NFL is about.

i'm concerned that even with 3 preseason games under their belt the defense has yet to create a turnover

no recovered fumbles and no INTs

One thing I am not concerned about anymore is no. 2 receiver, Crayton is developing into a pretty solid one.

Not worried at all. Seen enough preseason football to know how truly meaningless it is even when your starters are on the field. People don't realiuze how impossibly hard it is for established players to get up for meaningless games.

Romo's at such a high level that we try to figure out why he doesn't complete every single pass. He's got to be completing close to 75 percent of his passes this preseason. He'll be fine.

I am concerned about our special teams coverage, the injuries to a number of depth guys and the defensive approach. And the nervous willies in me want to see more from Felix before being sold on him; he certainly looks like a playmaker, but I hope he can be more than a gimmick player (i.e., he can run up the middle, break tackles, etc.).

Agreed. I think he's been fine all along. I mean, wasn't he close to recording 800 yards and 7 TDs last year? I think the concern at receiver only emerges if/when Owens goes down. Otherwise, we have a pretty nice hierarchy at the position.

I'm w/ Real1st. For all the money and 1st rnd draft picks on this D, they just don't live up to the hype. TNew is hurt again and got big $$$. Hamlin is not playing to the level of this big $$$ contract. Spears hasn't shown anything for 3 years and finally he's starting to do something now that it's a contract year. The 2ndary still can't cover or get TOs. Eveery once and a while sombody like Oglesby wil make a solid in-your-face tackle, but most of the time we are trying to grab guys from behind as they go by. This is why we can't seem to stop anybody on 3rd down, IMHO. We would have lost this game tonight if that WR would have hung on to the ball.

If Wade had any confidence in his 2nd string O, he would have let the Texans score w/ 2:23 left, leaving them w/ plenty of time to get down for a winning FG. I was instead reminded of the 2002 SF game in which Campo went for it on 4th down, when punting would have resulted in a touchback and given SF the ball on their 20 instead of the 40 or where ever it was.

But I remind myself "preseason doesn't count" and these guys will "turn it on against Cleveland" and the Super Bowl will be ours 6 months from now...

In some ways i agree with the "Its just preseason crowd" But at the same time the defense looks exactly like they did last year and its troubling with all this talent. Now if they turn it on and dominate during the season i will shut up about this defense but until then they haven't been impressive since the first two drives against Denver.

It should be hammered in your head by now, every team plays vanilla in preseason.

Schaub threw off his back foot about 1/2 the time tonight, is he throws like he did with steady pash rush and man coverage he would easily lead the league in ints.

We hit him a ton, but our coverage was suspect.

You guts act like u forgot how good Newman is. Henry made quite a few plays, Hamlin SHOULD have had a pick.

Pacman needs to step up, but he is ALREADY way better then Reeves.

You guys should stop acting like Bandwagon fans, and start acting like u have seen a pre-season game before.

If you honestly think our starting O, and D would have lost that game you are not a real cowboys fan. Period.

But honestly, if we score on that second drive, and go up by 14, no one is concerned.

It seems that nobody gets this.

I can't believe so many people are freaking out the way they are.
