Well, they could have gone for FG instead of 1st down on 4th down near about 25 yard line. So technically they could have tried for FG, about 40 plus yard variety. Frankly don't understand why they didn't, just to say they didn't get shut out. But probably crowd would boo at that point if they tried that though.

very cool thanks for the info...I stated the entire game that i didnt want them to score a point. We needed to beat them like the Gaints did, and i think we did that just need to tie up some loose ends. (short yardage)

I've had my doubts about Wade from time to time but to put things in perspective you only need to think back to the Campo era. Don't get me wrong because I like Dave but just not as a head coach. In those days we were 5 - 11 but the head coach was "excited" about the team's potential. Even if we don't win a playoff game (Heaven forbid!) again, we are at least in contention. We went several years during the dark ages after the last Superbowl win that we weren't even close to contending for anything. Of course I want to do more than contend, I want to win, but my point is that I think we have to give Wade his due.
