i could have been wrong on him, but i still think mickens has a lingering knee problem, once he gets that well he will be fine.

wont be the first time i was was wrong or correct and wont be the last time either

i thought we brought up gordon from practice squad. Oh, I see what your saying now, we could put mickens on practice squad. I am totally for that. Let mickens get a good offsesoning conditioning and build that knee up, etc in the offseason, etc.

In fact dont we have 2 openings now, with gordon being brought up from practice squad and tampa bay signing rudy carpenter, dont we have 2 openings on practice squad now?

Gordon wasn't on the practice squad, he's a vet. There is one opening since TB also picked up Rudy Carpenter. They apparently like our guys.

I think he does also. I figured he was one of those 1 year rehab projects. If they could find a way to keep him. But the knee was giving him more problems than anyone thought.

I think he needed to get microfracture rather than trying to play on that knee.

I was pretty excited when we drafted him after reading about his upside. He then came in and looked pretty bad in preseason and from what I read in practice. It has been around 11-12 months since his injury so I am not convinced that is the problem. If he needs something else done to his knee, he should probably have it done. If we pick him up, I hope for the best, but unless they find something wrong with his knee, I am starting to think it could be a talent issue.

:shoot3: Ding! Ding! Hostile hit the bullseye. I too feel that knee isnt 100 percent, and once you get that healed up, lookout.
