I just hope that there aren't two top dogs on the cowboys as head of the organization and cap hits, and not enough body remaining for two years at a minimum...

I do not share your optimism. If he hasn't figured it out by now???? Last years work with the backup QB's should show Garrett and company are incapable of winning unless Romo is there to bail them out. As much as I hope Romo stays healthy, I have my doubts. We have run this same unimaginative and predictable offense for way too long. This ofense takes Romo to make it work and even then it can be hard for them to succeed when the defense usually knows what you are running when you line up.

Which would be more appropriate? Sending condolences to the Jones family on the passing of their patriarch now? Or waiting until after Jones actually kicks the bucket?

I'm fairly proud to be a Cowboys fan now. It's a good organization that does things the right way. And I don't think the major problems with the team have much at all to do with the coaching staff anyway. I am looking forward to winning some playoff games again though.

at one time the cowboys were a good org but that was long time ago in a different era. Now its all about making money and building monuments of course its for all the past success not any thing that has occurred in the last 20 years. In the last two years they have had nine suspensions both there second round pick are suspended for the first four games. they have a third round pick who has never played a nfl down. most of there young players are often injured or they draft players they don't use like escobar or players who are first round busts. they have well earned there 500 record over the last twenty years.
