The Broncos have found their backup quarterback.
The team agreed to terms with Patrick Ramsey on Wednesday, according to a source close to the situation.
The deal is for two years.
Ramsey was recently cut by the New York Jets. Ramsey, 28, was a first-round draft pick by the Washington Commanders in 2002. He spent one season with the Jets. Ramsey will back up Jay Cutler. Denver has been looking for a veteran backup for the past three offseasons.
