When has Dak ever looked like this?
Look how completely scared Romo is in this play.

Here's another gem of how Romo will "open up the passing game."

Lastly, look at this one! Once again, When has Dak EVER looked like this?

These are from Romo's most recent 2 starts which are most relevant. I'd argue that they may not even be relevant as one year is FOREVER at this stage of his career. He is obviously much older, slower, and less mobile at this point.

You need to just stop.

be happy we have Dak and get the heck off Romo's arse.

Also..at this point, maybe your daily threads--all about the same topic but saying the same thing in different ways-- need to be in the Rant Zone.

You add zero new value

This just makes it a balanced view. I see countless threads saying that there is "zero question Romo is a better QB than Dak." If Dak ever struggles for 2 games and we get criticism, I am going to pull up this thread again.

I didn't even have to look at the videos… As once again, you are trying to compare an injured Romo to a healthy Prescott. The first game, Miami, was a solid two weeks earlier than Romo should've been coming back, if not even more. He was not fully healed and ready to play. Never mind that he won the game anyway. Of course you didn't mention that.

Carolina was a short week, which compounded the fact that he was not ready to play. What's more, he was not the only quarterback to play poorly against the Panther defense. As I recall, Peyton Manning didn't exactly set them on fire in the Super Bowl.

You seriously need to stop embarrassing yourself. You are hemorrhaging "I'm a troll " vibes. If you insist on making these ridiculous post, you can do so without being disrespectful to Tony Romo. It's one thing to express concerns in his health, but it's quite another to use terms as you have been known to use. You know what I'm talking about…

I like Romo but this thread is also important. This has nothing to do with "health" these were just horrible decisions. What's disturbing about the Miami game is that he throws the pass up for grabs while ducking from a hit. Absolutely horrible. And the nerve to yap at Dez when he lobbed the ball up blindly..? Once again I like Romo but these type of decisions can kill morale. In the Carolina game, these pick 6's are like rookie mistakes... did you hear the crowd after the Luke pick? My goodness. What a disaster. I know for a fact that Romo is better than this but we cannot dismiss the potential risk involved inserting Romo might have.

Yea, and it got me thinking, the lingering residual after effects of an injury are hardly an excuse for the poor choices made by Romo in each of those throws, which is what these videos exhibit in my mind. The Miami incident in particular, that is plain as day on Romo. How does an injury justify those mistakes? Michael Jordan won an NBA championship with the flu, why didn't someone get him the memo that he was supposed to play poorly that night and not be clutch because he was being rushed back to soon from being sick?

Yes...I encourage anyone open-minded to look Miami video again. What was Romo's thinking? Yes...let's think for a second about Romo's decision-making.

Romo obviously believed that 1 on 1 Dez should be able to catch the pass or at least prevent an interception. And that's not usually not poor decision-making if Bryant is the receiver.

It's impossible to see from the video because Dez is off-camera. Does he even see the ball? Why doesn't Dez come back to the ball. It's definitely true that the pass is very under thrown.

Receivers are taught when the quarterback is under duress--come back to the ball.

If you don't believe Dez should win 1-on-1 battles...then yes stupid throw.

As for his physical ability to play the position: true, it's becoming suspect...especially any Thanksgiving games on 3 days rest. The Carolina game it looked like Romo was on painkillers or something.

We all know Dez is a monster in 1 on 1 go up and get it situations... I guess we'll never know but the fact that Romo just hurls the ball under duress suggests to me the timing and velocity for whatever was intended had to be greatly impacted. Throw in Dez' non reaction with the fact that they're typically in sync in the redzone especially, I have to believe Romo just made a poor decision but that's just my guess. Even if Dez can make a play on that ball, it's luck at this point seeing how Tony threw the ball. His yapping at Dez looks like a classic case of saving face to me. Didn't like the entire scenario one bit.

Wish I knew why being an aggressive advocate for Dak was so bad on a forum specifically created to isolate these views. This support seems no more strange than the reflexive belief Romo is just as good, if not magically better, than he was in 2014. Because 2 years of convalescence often makes a person more vigorous.

I encourage all to watch the this game summary. The game was played with torrential rain. Romo, on the road played a good game overall, despite coming back before he was fully healed. And he led the team to a W.

I didn't have a problem with several of Gabe's points. But calling the man 'afraid' when he's hanging in the pocket and make a throw?

Where I come from those are words that start a brawl.

I have been a supporter of Dak as starter over Romo....but I have no patience for the BS.

Then you would be banned. Bumping old threads is against the rules...... I mean, never mind, it's cool. You can do that now.
