Brady leads Pats to Duel in Dallas win
Updated: October 11, 2007 7:14:32 PM PDT

The New England Patriots made sure that the Dallas Cowboys would not mistake them for the Buffalo Bills, pounding the Cowboys 41-10 in front of a stunned crowd in Irving, Texas.

After their nearly impossible win in Buffalo last week, the Cowboys were quickly staggered by quarterback Tom Brady, who led the Patriots to a first-possession score when he connected with Randy Moss for a 12-yard touchdown. The Patriots never let up as Brady found Moss again in the first quarter, and later hit tight end Ben Watson and wide receiver Donte' Stallworth for touchdowns. Before the Cowboys could blink they were trailing 31-0 at halftime.

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo's rut continued, throwing three interceptions to accompany his 264 yards. Romo's lone bright spot came by way of a 7-yard touchdown to wide receiver Patrick Crayton in the third quarter. Romo was no match for Brady, who finished the day with 254 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. Terrell Owens led all receivers with 103 yards, but wasn't much of a factor in the end.

I've been tracking most experts and simulations, Madden is definitely not the cream of the crop...

Nobody's perfect but Vegas and Schlereth are much better than the rest. CBS experts have been sucking. I don't think anyone is going to try something risky and pick the cowboys. If everyone else thinks its a gimme pick then they'll pick it too.

I'm 48-28 (63%) in my pick'em league so far. Sadly, that would rank me in 6th place among these 'experts'.

What's worse - Bill Simmons' wife made picks last year and did better than he did with very strange criteria. It's a crapshoot.

Was that programmed by Peter King and Albert Breer?

Its a 2 player pick game I made with excel last year. Most of it is automated... Just have to make weekly picks and say who ended up winning the games. Another Picture

Interesting... they have Romo going 22/33 but when you add up the receptions it only adds up to 20...

Typical of EA Sports...

No to dwell on this dumb EA simulation too much... but they have us down 31-0 at the half, and also kicking a second half field goal from the 2 yard line.

Don't you think if we were down 31-0 we'd go ahead and go for it on 4th down from the 2?

The game is decided on the field not in simulators and by ESPN talking heads. Don't get frustrated, get psyched; this is a big game and I've never wanted Sunday to come so quick.

The Cowboys can definitely pull this one out.
