Which scares you more?

Doug Free starting at LT

Cory Procter starting at guard or center

We all feel OL needs a major influx of youth but we have a starting caliber tackle in Free and some depth with Brewster. We have zip behind Gurode, Kosier and Davis. We can't upgrade every spot in one offseason so guard and center need to take priority.

On defense we are a playmaker at safety away.

If we can get a starting quality player at G, C and safety plus add a kicker and kick returner we will have a successful offseason.

are you advocating drafting a Center in round 1?.we can get the bet center prospect in rd 2 easily.

No I am saying guard or safety in round one even if we have to move up some to get it done.

You're right. We do need to upgrade OG/C more than OT. But we have more age at OT.

I think we need to upgrade both OT and OG/C more than any other position.

We should be looking to draft two OL in rounds 1-3.

I agree with you about LT. But not sure, cowboys are set at RT, i.e. backup that is, untill they Brewster on the field. They are certainly high on him based on what Wade said about him. But I am sure they are not sure until they see him on the field, much like they thought about Free.

Having said that, OG/C type player would be ideal in 1st round, if the guy is rated really high (as much as I wasn't impressed with Iuapati in senior bowl, based on hype he got, but if he there at 27, seems like he would be ideal guy to pick). Beyond, him, not sure who else is there, that is worth 1st round pick at G/C. I guess we shall see as we get into Draft talk and articles, and the combine etc.

Safety, not sure there is one that will slide toward cowboys. That is worth the 1st round pick. I think 1st Round pick, beyound, QB/RB, I don't see any other position not draftable. Best available it is for 1st round pick, IMO.

Maurkice Pouncey in two.

:laugh2:

Is he the guy that kept twisting his head pre-snap against LSU this past season?

It was hysterical when LSU finally jumped offsides and knocked his *** over.

When I think about it, it's obvious a loss on offense at QB or C hurts the most. However, I never see anyone rue the loss of Bradie James. The loss of James or, shudder, even Carpenter would affect the club at least as much as the loss of Gurode IMO.

Yes, the #1 center in the draft.

Can also play guard.

Would probably be the #1 guard in the draft if he played there is whole career.

Chad Jones could be had in the early 2nd.

Do your thing in the first round, and trade up in round 2 to get Jones. Dude will be a playmaker no doubt.

He's a FS who returns punts...the dude has some real athleticism.

If Proctor is on this team in 2010, I will not post on here until January 31, 2011.
