Collins is supposed to be ready by TC. But wouldn't surprise me if he starts TC on PUP as a precaution that will eat up most of TC. That is just par for the course of what this team does.
Doesn't matter 1 tech or 3 teach, just talking DT's in general. But it does give an opportunity for some other Dt's to show what they have.

he wont be ready come week 1. At best, week 3. At worst, week 4 or 5. I had foot surgery, and while everyone responds differently and on there own timetable, the foot is a delicate thing for anyone..let alone for a guy who weighs over 300 pounds and is an athlete. He has to be right totally before he even begins rehab, then comes getting back into practice shape, then getting into game shape. Its a fairly long process getting him back on the field. We better have a plan.

I am just going by what I read.

You cannot forecast the healing time on a foot . Its very hard because there are many variables. Depends on what part of the foot. Depends on the surgeon.Depends on the players body and how it heals. Mentally,he must get to where he is 100% confident in that foot and putting all his weight on it. Otherwise,he wont be very effective.

I would still like to see T McClain brought back. He played the DT 1 position well beside Collins at DT 3. He could play it well beside Irving at DT 3 also. This is the second foot break. Is it the same foot? Same bone? There are many in the foot. Regarless, I'm hoping for a reunite with T M

If this guys draft stock does the same as Fumagalli's after you repeatedly told us he'd be the first TE off the board, it doesn't bode well for him. :)

McClain signed with Atlanta.
