For those who cant watch the game... Sopcast access

Guys, we currently have over 4000 people watching this broadcast. Not to mention whoever is watching form the website. I try to stay offline while im broadcasting to save bandwidth. I just reset the server at halftime and the stream is back up. Just keep reconnecting if you get a bad feed. Some people are getting a great stream, and others not so much. I'll be back on after the game.

Thanks for doing this for us...even if its choppy its something and I appreciate you trying to help us out.

Anyone know if we can fill a larger buffer and delay the stream so that it might not be live. but lets say its 5 minutes delayed but smooth?

Thank you! You da man!

I just can't stress enough how much I appreciated this. Hurricane Humberto has our local Fox affiliate down for the time being, so this was a real life saver. Thanks again.

2nd half was much better I was in the 70's on that little meter in the bottom right hand corner.

The feed was much better for the second half. Not perfect....but it was watchable.

Nice save, guys. :starspin

Boys,

Thanks so much for doing this for us geographicly challenged. I got to see most of the game and I am very appreciative.

Thats it guys.

Some advice for next week. The vast majority of PM's I recieved for tech support were guys who hadn't familiarized themselves with Sopcast. So If you think you will be without the games next week, do some test runs prior to kick-off.

The broadcast will be weekly, so be prepared.

Special thanks to CowboysFan81 for hosting the broadcast. Looks like he will be getting a lot of love this season. :yourock:

Bravo... you guys rock! And you saved me from getting smashed on a Sunday when I need to do some work. thanks again.

Hey man!

Thanks for the game. I live in Washington DC and the local Fox affiliate was supposed to carry the game but did not. I believe it's because they are going to be carrying the 'Skins Monday night game.

Stream was pretty good - 256Kbps most of the game.

Hey guys.

To let you know, if you don't already. I will have the game on my site for download. Just give it a few days to convert and upload.

It will be excellent quality. And you can get them here each week......... http://www.cowboysmedia.com/

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Happy to do it. It blows me away that we had over 4000 people connected at once! I was broadcasting the GB/NYG game earlier, and hadd about 250 or so connected. Man, what a jump! It just goes to show the popularity of our team. As Stargazer suggested, those of you that were having problems might want do some testing during the week. As he said, we gonna do thie the entire season.

2-0 Baby!
