Some of you have been slobbering over the Eagles coaching, last night should have been a serious wake up call for you. All coaches make errors, and the Eagles make a few critical errors last night.

I did want to break Garrett's knee caps for letting up on the gas and failing to try to get the first down on the last drive.

Yes, I thought he was going to lose us another close game.
At least the team and D closed out a 4th quarter close game. Though they had me on the cliff.

This was the FIRST game where Garrett out coached anyone. I was thoroughly impressed. But honestly, it underlined the notion that we need a new HC in here ASAP. Coaching matters. Unless you are going to tell me that Garrett all off a sudden is going to reverse his nature and coach like this the rest of his life. LOL

going for it that first drive instead of an easy FG was insane against our offense that was bad decsions by the feagles. they weren't playing the rams or saints , that was just dumb..but hey we lost 3 games by less than a TD this season because of our HC making the same stupid decsions or non decsions.it happens

It was an arrogant defensive game plan by the Eagles that cost them. Collinsworth pointed it out during the game that the Eagles want to win up front with their defensive line instead of relying on the blitz because of how good their defensive line has been.

If they studied our offense, though, they should have recognized that our offense has done well against teams that rely on four-man pressure and poorly against those that have blitzed us. Bringing five or six has disrupted our running game and forced Prescott to have to try to make quick decisions, which he has not done well.

It's possible that Philly stuck with the plan (blitzing only a few times) because of its injuries in the secondary, but with the success teams have had being aggressive with their eight-man fronts, I would not deviate from that against Dallas until the Cowboys prove they can solve it.

They called a smoke screen on 3rd and 15 in a 6-3 game.

It's the same crappy offensive coaching that has been here, it just happened to work.

I feel like this is a subtle compliment to Jason Carrot

Maybe Frank Reich was the real success behind the Eagles O. They are ranked 19th in points scored...

This win was about the players. Zeke, the OL, Heath, the defense, the players made the plays and won the game. The playcalling to open the 2nd half and on the last series were abysmal and could well have cost them the game.

Not for nothing, but three runs caused the Eagles to use all their TO's. If Dak threw one incompletion, they still have a TO. It left them with 40 seconds. Not very good odds at all. And then 50% of the fans would want Garrett's head for that.

It was the right call.

What did Garrett do?

Weren’t you guys just quoting an article the day before the game that he gave more power to Linehan?

Eagles coaching won a SB with Nick Foles in the first year, off brilliant coaching, particularly offensively.

Of course that deserved slobbering. Eagles can afford a couple years of no SBs right now.

Garrett is in like year 10 of suck..

Schwartz going prevent was an example of major suckage though..

First down was a perfect time for play action
Even if it’s a short safe throw to make them defend the pass going forward
They had 3 TO’s so one first down wouldn’t have ended it but it would have improved field position and forced them to at least defend the chance you pass again
