For those who jumped off a cliff last week and lived...

With last weeks uninspired loss to the Skins last week many cowboys fans jumped off a cliff, claiming we were doomed and the season was over.

In hindsite, last week game meant absolutely nothing to the Dallas Cowboys (the team). In all reality, if it was up to the players and the coaches they would have rather had an extra week of rest to get players healed. Because that was not possible, they made a guest appearence. Their poor appearence caused fans to commit mass suicide.

The Commanders came into last weeks game with everything to lose. They came in pumped and it showed. Unfortunantly they blew their wad (against the Cowboys) and it showed today:lmao: . Now the Commanders are OUT, Romo, Witten and the the rest of the Cowboys spent this weekend relaxing and having fun in the warm sun. Those are the benifits of a 13-3 season.

On Monday they will return to work rested and healthy and begin to game plan for the winner of the Giants/Bucs game.

I am confident we will see a different Boys team next weekend when the game actually means something. Im also confident that the same cowboys fans who jumped off the cliff will make a miraculous recovery and return the fan they were when the Cowboys were 10-1 and the greated thing since sliced bread.

Is it possible to jump off a cliff and come back to life? :laugh2:

Those who fear the Commanders, you can come out from under the bridge. Join your brave brethren on their way to victory.

It was disappointing to see it played out that way, by any standards, but it is what it is; a meaningless game, with more than a few out with injuries.

Watching the Commanders today reminded me that they still suck, and beating the Cowboys was probably the best thing for us fans to laugh at. They got their heads so big, they started to believe they actually won on their own merits and laid an egg today in Seattle, thinking they could look past it to play Dallas.

haha.

The fair weather chicken littles are the most embarrassing there is for a board. They make people laugh at us after a loss. Actually, on ES, I haven't seen that many fair weathers today, which makes it all the more embarrassing.

Fortunately, I was on vacation(AWAY from ANY computer) when the Boys played their last reg season game against the Skins.

Thankfully, b/c of that, I was able to enjoy my vacation alot more, instead of drowning in the misery of this board then.(especially knowing it was nothing more than a MEANINGLESS game)

I agree. My post was directed at those who claimed the sky was falling.

As they say the cream always rises to the top. Its yet to be seen where the Cowboys will finish but im optimistic about our chances. I will be attending my first Cowboys playoff game next week and i am pumped!

The Skins are out. Hopefully the Sean Taylor vodoism can be put to rest. That was really getting anoying.

Garrard went 9 for 21 in his game. Which is exactly what Ben went in the superbowl 40, 9 for 21. 4+0+9+2+1 = 16. 1+6 = 7. 7+1+6 = 14+7= 21. It was the Commanders 21st game (4+16+1) and they lost by 21 after winning by 21 in the previous week.

1991 + 21 = 2012 <-- Next chance to make it to the superbowl? Or do we have to start from this year?

I think it should start since the year Gibbs returned. After all, Gibbs is the second coming of Christ right? :lmao:
