If i was owner Jerry Jones, I would tell TO, if he wants to play for the cowboys next year, he attends all team meetings, for offseason, preseason and season. No more of this ive got other commitments bull****.

Earn your 10 million dollars i gave you.

Then, i would tell him as a dallas cowboy player, i had better not see you anymore going to a hotel room of the former team and playing dominoes, right before the game. That is bull****. Your playing for a title game, i pay you to play and be a leader, quit being a jerk, and play like the leader you say you are.

If anything you should have been talking to other dallas cowboy players, getting ready for the game and be ready.

You can't handle TO like that. It's asking for trouble.

You either put up with it or you cut him. It's that simple.

Well, if im paying him 10 million dollars, and you listen to all media guys, etc, they say TO skills are dimishing, he is injury prone maybe, not the player he was, so no way would he get the 10 million dollars, so i would tell him, look, your almost getting 10 million again, either do what i tell you and play with heart and desire, be a leader, or you can go play for less money.

In a perfect world, that would be the way to go. I would applaud all of that. But this is precisely what Dallas signed up for last spring. Jerry knew. Bill knew. We all should have known.

Personally, nothing this season involving Owens has surprised me all that much. I viewed him as a mercenary, pure and simple. I expected drama. Got it. With all the touchdowns I figured there would be drops mixed in along the way.

He is what he is. Me, I can deal with the negatives as long as he offsets that with his big play ability on Sundays. I don't necessarily like the individual, but who cares. Just perform.

All that said, expecting Terrell to deviate from status quo is rather unrealistic, IMO. I would suggest love it or leave it, but I don't think the Cowboy brass cares too much about what I have to say. :)
