I found it suspicious that they are waiting till Wednesday when the offices opened back up today.

Makes me think a two for one trade is in the works ..... since it seems like they would want killa to get in as much practice as possible.

But that is prolly just my wishful thinking.

;)

yeah i think a trade is in the works for sure, or at least they want to cover themselves,

im thinking they are going to trade mcquistan to miami

now sure whomelse you could trade, maybe ball

then on top of that, if they sign simms or bollinger, thats another player that has to be cut or traded,

so whom else do you see being traded or cut for the qb coming in next week

I think we're cutting hte last O-Lineman at the bottom of the depth chart because we've already elevated that OL group by signing the Guard from Demver (his name escapes me at the moment). That makes one of the "projects" expendable. I think Proctor and McQuistain are safe behind the other starters, but any of the other "projects" behind these two may be getting the cut.

This is what I'm thinking too.

And if they can't get a deal done, I'd say Ball gets released to make way for Davis.

I hope we can make a trade but why would Miami trade with us if they have the 1st crack at the waiver wire?

Maybe a trade with another team because they know Miami or another cellar dweller will have the waiver wire option before them.

Considering all the DBs and Oline, I suspect a trade is expected. If it doesn't, I'm guessing Marten is gone as the DBs maybe worth more in the long run. Hollend makes Marten expendable.

It has to be a DB or OL. Adding Davis will put us at 12 DB's right?

I expect it will be a DB -- o-line are too valuable to give up on early if even if all signs point to a "you suck" evaluation

I think Alan Ball gets the axe.

that seems the most logical to me -- he would be PS eligible and has made it through waivers before.

it could be Ball..although Courtney Brown has been just as bad and plays the same position as Davis

Brown or Ball make the most sense, unless they trade someone, like maybe Oglesby.
