I had a dream last night about the game. Normally, I don't give too much thought to my dreams, probably because few of them actually make any sense.

Anyways, I bring this up because a month and a half ago I had another NFL related dream that appears to have become reality. In my dream, I learned that the following teams would win their divisions:

NY Giants (not surprising)
Arizona (not surprising)
Carolina (somewhat surprising at the team as they weren't as good as they are now)
Minnesota (again, surprising since at the time they were a game behind the Bears)

I also recall that we were one of the wildcard teams, but I can't remember who the other team was.

Anyways, last night I dreamed that on two successive possessions to start the game, the Eagles drove down inside our 20 yard line and turned the ball over. The second possession ended in a D Ware sack/fumble which was returned to midfield by one of our guys. After each turnover, we managed to get a field goal. We were ahead 6-0 when I woke up.

I guess I'll take that

The key for us in this game is to get ahead early. If that happens, assuming the eagles are out of playoff contention by the time the game starts, their players will likely start to mail it in.

If we fall behind early, especially if we give up turnovers, it might get ugly until next September.

That's cool you dream about the NFL.

I don't remember hardly ANY of my dreams. The ones I do remember, I usually wake up.. well, I'm sure we <all> know THOSE dreams.

I hope you're right. I have a pretty good feeling going into this game as well.

Well, I'd be disappointed if we were only up 6-0 at halftime.

But hey, I've been disappointed all year long!

As long as we win, I suppose.

I doubt the Eagles mail it in, even if they are eliminated......

I dreamed that Dallas beat Tampa Bay a few days before it actually happened.

Beat that.

I'll certainly take your dream over mine.

Last night I dreamt we marched down the field very early in the 1st quarter, it was 3rd and goal, and Romo threw a pick in the end zone. I had to force myself to wake up after that one

This is a very odd scenario. Typically teams who kick field goals instead of scoring touchdowns lose games. However, the same can also be siad for teams who turn the ball over.

I guess what concerns me the most is the Eagles ability(in your dream) to move the ball on our D and our inability to score touchdowns.

the eagles have struggled in the redzone lately. vs the giants they got a blocked fg and both westbrook tds were not from inside the redzone. the eagles did well vs Arizona in the redzone but they haven't been able to stop anything for a month. vs the browns both Jackson and Mcnabb threw picks in the endzone. vs Washington they only scored 3 points. we have to key on westbrook especially in the redzone.

You need to dream about four straight 52-0 shutouts by the Cowboys to finish the season.
