Just some trivia here...
Forbes just published its list showing the estimated value of each NBA franchise.

The 10 most valuable NBA franchises are:

  1. New York ($1.1 bil)
  2. LA Lakers (1 bil)
  3. Chicago (800 mil)
  4. Boston (730 mil)
  5. Dallas (685 mil)
  6. Miami (625 mil)
  7. Houston (568 mil)
  8. Golden St (555 mil)
  9. Brooklyn (530 mil)
  10. San Antonio (527 mil)

The Texas teams. Not bad.
 
Just doesnt look right to me. The nets just built a brand new facility and somehow the gs warriors are worth more?

The Nets owner has more money, but GS is also moving to a great location in a few years....real close to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. That in itself makes them a lot more valuable.
 
id still rather own the lakers than the knicks. pretty crazy the spurs are in the top ten, only team on that list thats not in a major market.
