I am personally dead set against reaching for need. I also realize that I have zero impact on what the Cowboys do with their pick.
This draft is supposed to be very deep at edge rusher, wr and tight end. If that is the case you would expect that by the end of round four the BPA through the first four picks could easily encompass at least two of the three needs listed above.
If we don’t end up with at least one edge out of the first three or four rounds, I would think that’s a very unlikely scenario if we stick to our board unless we trade up and give away picks.
