The first concert I ever traveled to go to was Foreigner when they did the 4 tour. That was my Senior year of HS. There were 5 of us who went to the concert. We got special permission from our baseball coach to leave practice early. In exchange we had to run 2 miles extra after practice every day for a week.

Bryan Adams was the opening act. That was before he hit it big. None of us had ever heard of him. We were impressed.

Fast forward 29 years later and on April 30th here in Tucson, my oldest daughter, now a Senior in HS, is going to be singing with her school choir on stage for their song "I Want to Know What Love Is."

My wife, 2nd daughter, and I have all been invited backstage with the choir to meet the band before the show. I may not be able to go and it kills me.

Foreigner wins in a landslide for me even though I love Bad Co.

I like Foreigner but Bad Company holds some memories for me.

I think both bands are pretty even overall.
