the season starts now. 3 games left. Eagles lose Wentz. Zeke is back in a week. Dak finally showed he can move this offense without Zeke. Oakland is big test but I think Cowboys see small window open. Even if Dallas doesn't get into playoffs, you have Zeke to start 2018 and Wentz likely isn't ready until middle of next season (do I have that correct?). I am optimistic.

It’ll be tough for Wentz to be healthy to start the season. It’s not impossible ... standard recovery is 7 to 9 months.

I feel much better about playing Oakland now than I did a few months ago. If Cooper is out, even better for us.

Just read that Dr. James Andrews said torn ACL can be 9-12 months so he might miss few games to start 2018.

Exactly where Jerry wants you and what we've been saying fir the better part of 23 years! There's always next year. Hahahahah , history tells you it won't change next year either.

Season starts now with this team at severe disadvantages, even if they don't lose.

This is exactly right.

Now Jerry can come back, sell us on 10-6 and how we went on a run without Zeke.

We all convinced if Sean Lee played the Rams or Packers game, we’d back it to the playoffs.

We get the same product next season.

Dude as fans that’s all we have. We can’t do anything about personnel decisions. We can find a reason to be optimistic or we can lose interest and take up another Sunday hobby.

Screaming and being angry on a message board will change nothing except make us more miserable.

Good for the OP. Optimism beats anger and depression.

Wentz should be back for the start of the season.

As for the rest of your post, well, yes. We all know we have to win out and need help.

I suspect he will be ready for the start of the season but the question will be rust, etc. He likely won't be able to participate in a lot of August camp and preseason games.
