Forget everything

Wentz should be back for the start of the season.

As for the rest of your post, well, yes. We all know we have to win out and need help.

here is direct quote from Dr. Andrews (who says recover is 9-12 months). "the danger of returning too football too early from ACL surgery is higher odds of tearing the graft repair; also places the healthy knee in jeopardy until rehab and healing are thoroughly accomplished." So if we take Dr Andrews word on this (I believe he will do the surgery) that puts Wentz back mid Sept (best case scenario) to next dec (worst case scenario). That gives Dallas opportunity to jump out on Eagles early next season with weaker schedule. My point being, I think next year is Dallas window.

Is it Jazz fusion?
Are you the guy that gave Drew Brees a ride in his commercial? Because that would be funny!... lol
I know not of what you say about Drew Brees, but I will say I was a senior at James Bowie H.S. (Westlake's undeserved rival, along with Crockett) when he was at Westlake, over there in Austin. Even though they were Eanes ISD and we were Austin ISD... referring to the "rivalry"... ah well, who cares!

Well, who's wrong then? Chris Mortensen for reporting 9-12 months? Dr. James Andrews for stating what was reported? ESPN Fake News?... wait, I might've just figured it out... lol

Believe who you want. But Wentz is going to be starting the season in PHI next year.

Look at Adrian Peterson who got back from a complete MCL and ACL repair to lead the league in rushing in 9 months. That’s orders at magnitude tougher to do than what Wentz is looking at.

All respect to Dr. Andrews, but he does not know what he is talking about with Carson Wentz. He is not a mere mortal.

What is funny about this is that our fans want to believe he will be out at least until late September, but all the while they swear he is not really all that great.

Peterson is not human. By the way, you said Wentz would be back in 6 months and starting week 1, for the record.
The most famous athletic doctor in America says 9-12. I'll go with 9.... Man, this board is so chippy you'd think we were at a Seahawks vs. Jaguars game.
Hey everyone! The Cowboys beat the Giants and the beloved Eli Manning yesterday. Lighten up a lil' bit.

Go with whatever number you want to go with. The games don’t count again for 9 months anyway.

Lol. Okay. So, are you backing off the 6 months recovery then?
Since it's 9 months away, I'll go with career-ending.

Oakland is a "big" test? Why? They suck. We should roll over them just like we did NY and Warshington. It's the NFL, anyone can lose on any given Sunday but I don't get people worrying about Oakland.
Because they were a preseason favorite with a 100 mil dollar qb. You always have a shot with a talented qb

What was false that I said? Y’all loved David Carr 3 months ago
I never did, don't lump me in that group. With the exception of a few powerhouse teams with proven qb's (ie GB and NE) I don't place much stock in records from prior years. 3 months ago what I saw was a team with 2 shoddy wins. What I see now is a team with a few mkre shoddy wins and a bunch of losses. That pathetic offense looked horrendous against one of the worst defenses in the nfl last week in KC.

Seriously? Just because they paid him 100 million dollars doesn't mean he's worth it. Look at Flacco, or better yet Osweiler.

Is there any hope that Wentz's injury could turn fatal?? :muttley:.
I can think of a few players I'd like to see keep him company in the morgue. Here's a hint, at least one of them is in the NFCE and he doesn't play for the Eagles. IMOF, he may not be playing at all :lmao:

I forgot it. The season starts Sept. 2018. Hoping for a good draft.

Look at Jay Cutler. He's Jay Cutlering tonight. Got the Pat down by 10 with 8 to go.

I think he’ll be back in 6 months. At least for the start of preseason, however long that is. He can’t play a game until its time to play games.

Exactly where Jerry wants you and what we've been saying fir the better part of 23 years! There's always next year. Hahahahah , history tells you it won't change next year either.
Well said
