My wife and I have a blast when football season finally breaks from it's offseason slumber. My Cowboys officially started training camp today, and her Super Bowl champion Steelers begin their's August 1st. So you can imagine the in-house rivalry we have going.

Today, the wife and I made our preseason top 5 picks of the five best teams in the NFL, with one wild card.

Fletch's picks:

1. Steelers
2. Patriots
3. NY Giants
4. Philly
5. Arizona

Wild Card: Cowboys

Wife's picks:

1. Steelers
2. Patriots
3. Titans
4. Vikings
5. Chargers

Wild Card: Colts

I would love to see some of your picks, and if you have a wife who is into football as much as mine, throw her's in as well.

Highly suspect that you have G-men and Eagles above the Boys.

SMH!

#1 Patriots
#2 Steelers
#3 Eagles
#4 Chargers
#5 Ravens

wildcard: Giants

WOW. I'll use the term "Cowboy fan" lightly in this thread. Not even the so called "Fans" are giving them props.

Ill do a top ten

Stealers
Cheatriots
Cowboys
Titans
Giants
Chargers
Minny
Colts
Ravens
Filthydelphia

Patriots
Steelers
Cowboys
Eagles
Chargers

the eagles? sorry but there is no way that defense is the same.

Believe me, I wanted to put them in the top 5. But year after year it seems there is a let down. Giving them a wild card at this point is being generous. Even Hostile figures them to be a possible Wild Card Playoff team.

They are going to have to prove to me throughout an entire year and playoffs that they are worthy at this point. No more free passes.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Cowboys, but it's time to put up or shut up.

1. Patriots
2. Steelers
3. Giants
4. Cardinals
5. Cowboys

Wildcard: Falcons/Titans (can't decide)

Darkhorse: Raiders

I just genuinely do not understand how ANY of you can think the Cardinals are better than we are.

I get that they played so well in the post season last year, but lets not forget that was a team that went 9-7 in the WORST division in the league. You can't tell me we wouldnt go 12-4 or better almost every year in the division. They were a one year fluke and will not make the post season this year. They were like Miami last year, took people by surprise but it was just a short spark.

But that's just it, they may have been 9-7 in that weak division, but they came together as a team, and played very well... well enough to get to the big dance. Something we have yet to learn how to do.

Time to get over the wall.

LOL. I told her that her picks looked sexier than mine.

Perhaps you should make some picks.

1. Steelers
2. Patriots
3. Ravens
4. Philly
5. Cowboys

Saints, and, wait for it...Texans are my darkhorses.

First of all, if she is not a Cowboys fan, leave her. it will hurt a little, but you have to pick: Cowboys or Steeler-loving woman.

Second, I like your choices, but I don't rate the Steelers that high.

Giants vs. Pats in the Super Bowl.

Like Clarence Hill Junior, I pick the Boys at 9-7 and an early out of the playoffs.
And Wade will shrug and walk away.

Traditionally you have the Champs until they get beat. Right now I would have the Pats and Stealers pretty much equal. Then throw agout 6-8 teams into the mix (incuding us) in after them. They can be ranked any way you like since the overall difference is so small. The top two's edge is not that big either.
