I get that Taco has not lived up to his 1st round pick, however he proved himself this past preseason. The team proved their point (attitude or play making ability) by making him inactive during week one, now let Taco prove himself. The rotation was not impressive against the Giants. I expected to see the D-line put more pressure on Eli and have more tackles. I don't like the d-line not making more stops and allowing opposing players run free to the next two levels. The team needs to take a good look for Taco this week while Quinn is on suspension. Another concern I have with the D-line is Crawford and the NFL handing him a suspension. This team runs a deep rotation during the game and Taco may become a viable cog in that rotation. If not, the team needs to cut their losses and find a player that will help this team.

Play Taco and let him prove his worth against the Deadskins.
Go Dallas!!!

I agree. Armstrong was so bad Dallas needed to move Tank to RDE for certain stretches to get pressure from that side. Nobody knows when and if Gregory will apply for reinstatement. Quinn is back week 3 but he is on a 1 year deal. Its possible this team needs starting RDE & DT after season. See what Taco looks like as starter this week. His pre-season looked pretty good.

In case you aren't good at the "reading between the lines" stuff he is the worst DE currently on the roster. If he wasn't, he would be playing. Even Kyder was in the game yesterday.

The only reason he isn't cut is because he was a first round pick. So they are trying to get something for nothing.

They have taken a "good look at Taco" for 2.5 years and come to conclusion that many people here have...………………..That Taco is terrible.

I put on another thread that they should get a 5th for him if they can't then just use him as a back up.

I don’t know how the team can get trade value out of a player that is a healthy scratch. The trade should have occurred after his great preseason game.
@CowboyRoy he can’t be worse than the backups that played. Their stat lines were pathetic.

I think a trade is in the works with some team. but compensation is not finalized. they don't want to risk him looking bad or get injured.

That's even more of an indication of how bad Taco really is. He cant even get in front of rookie undrafted FA and 7th round pick DE's.

Garrett was even quoted today as saying that Taco was riding the bench because the other guys gave them a better chance to win. Plain as day right from the horses mouth.

Gregory applied for reinstatement.

I thought Taco should have been in for Hyder last game. Hyder didn't do much that I saw that was overly productive, and Taco had a great preseason before the ankle injury. But maybe the injury held him out.

Hyder played because he can play DE & DT. Taco can only play DE. But this bring up bigger issue of Marinelli being enamored with flexibility. Sure Hyder & Joe Jackson were both flexible at being really bad at football from different positions. Give Taco chance this week.

Garrett already made up his mind, per that interview he just had .,

taco is out. he is gone from dallas soon enough.

There's a rumor that Gregory *may* have applied. Which really isn't saying anything. I can't find a story that says he actually has applied.

Do you have a link?

Stephen said he did. There was a thread on this a while back.

The team must really like Dorance Armstrong, who to be honest, I had completely forgot was on the roster until this week.
