That's it?

No why you wouldn't..?

Great.

O-Tree: Young, immature and inexperienced.
Crayton: Getting old, has peeked.

Not saying i would release either one, but i wouldn’t feel comfortable going into next season with them.

A couple of years ago, this forum was buzzing about going after Javon Walker. Well....he's available again. Maybe we should take a look for a very, very low-risk contract. He does still possess good deep speed and could be a nice compliment in the slot or for depth, in case RW or MA gets hurt....thoughts???

You think Walker still possesses good deep speed? Oh geez....

He's had what, 2 micro-fracture knee surgeries now? He has NO SPEED. Hence, why Al Davis cut him.

Where did you get that O-tree is immature? I don't know that much about him and I had not about maturity issues.

So you would take Javon Walker over )-tree and Crayton? I wouldn't. And Walker does have maturity issues.

Now if you are saying Dallas should make a move for another receiver whether thru the draft or free agency that is a different conversation.

Jerry Jones. Plus i used to follow him on Twitter. He sounds immature. Now i am a big O-Tree fan, was in the beginning during training camp and still am. I just believe if Romo can do something with a nobody UDFA like him, imagine what he could do with a real speed demon? I still remember the connection he had with Glenn.

Imagine Austin, the other guy and a slot receiver with speed and shiftiness. I don’t know if free agency has that guy, but i know the draft does.

That sounds reasonable and it sounds like you don't think Javon Walker is the answer. I also think they can find someone in the draft. They need to find other answers in the draft before focusing on receiver.

I don't really remember a good connection between Romo and Glenn. Glenn's numbers were better with Bledsoe at QB. Glenn's two best games with Romo at the helm were both in losses in 2006. Really there is too small a sample size to determine if Romo had a good connection with Glenn.

And neither would I.

O-Tree: I agree on his experience, but I feel he's got something we need.

Crayton: despite the NY drop he's still the most consistant WR we got.

Austin: Can he repeat his performance from last season (I hope he does) but you never know. Also, can he stay healthy?

RW: He's tricky to me. I'm trying to figure out if he's being used right in this offense or if he's not doing what he's suppose to do on the field.

We need more WR help. To pass up players like D. Jackson and S. Holmes in the draft is fustrating. How many Undrafted WR's is Dallas going to pick up?

To finish that Vikings game with just 3pts is disappointing. Before Flo's injury, Dallas had a few successful drives and came out with a FG. Not good.

Santonio Holmes would probably be suspended for a full season had Dallas drafted him.

:lmao2: Maybe so. Atleast he will be suspended after we win the SB. The guy can still catch.

Wow.

Here, try this:

Hey, let’s not compare Romo to O-Tree. Romo put in years of hard work to improve his game...Kevin has already been accused of being a slacker after one season. That is all i needed to hear to be weary of trusting him.

Oh and the last 1st round QB the Cowboys drafted won 3 Super Bowls.

No, the comparison was not Romo to O tree, but the logic of wanting to upgrade simply because O was a UDFA.

One quip regarding O, and suddenly he's a slacker? If he's such a pain, why'd Phillips play him so much? At times, he was on the field more during the second half of games than RW.

Where did you hear this? Did the tooth fairy send out a Tweet? If you're refering to Jerrah's comments, you are reading way too much into it. Remember when he questioned MBIII's injury two years ago? It wasn't questioning his work ethic, it was Jerrah trying to get his guys to play tough. Trust me, he knows what he has in O-Tree.

Maybe so. Jones could be using it as motivation for him to get better. But it’s also possible that he sees something wrong with his work ethic.

I thought it was just Jerry Jones flat out letting Kevin Ogletree know he better not consider resting on his laurels after his rookie season.

He wants KO to emulate Miles Austin's approach.

My thoughts exactly. I don't think JJ spends a lot of time at the practice facilities ... unless it's TC and a lot of cameras are around. The coaches definitely saw improvement in KO, or they wouldn't have put him in at the end of the season. Jerry's just letting the players know that if they want to play, they ALL need to put in the work.

Ok found the quote.

Jerry Jones said last week at the combine. "I can’t answer for Ogletree, because I don’t know how hard he’s going to work. If he comes in a works as hard as Miles Austin worked, then he’s got a real upside."

Sounds to me like he is questioning his work ethic.

Again, you are reading way too much into it. He's simply saying he doesn't know how are KO works. He's not suggesting he doesn't work hard enough; he just doesn't know.

That's like me going into a restaurant and saying, "well, I don't know how well this chef cooks" and suggesting the food is crap.

But, to keep with your argumentative nature, let's look at the 2nd line of the sentence you didn't address.

"If he comes in a works as hard as Miles Austin worked, then he’s got a real upside."

That, to me, suggests that he sees what coaches saw in MA a few years ago. A lot of talent that needs work. KO has the talent. If he continues to progress as MA did, he will be a good WR for the Boys.
