Anyone have any ideas? It is currently NTFS and I need it to be FAT 32 so I can get it to work on my PS3 but my PC won't give me an option to change the format during reformat.

i read you have to do it from a boot disk of i believe it was windows 98 could be wrong though

You may have to remove the exernal (i'm assuming it's USB) hard drive from it's casing and connect it to a regular IDE port. As the kid o5 said, you should then be able to use a Windows 98 boot disk and have it formatted in FAT32.

any luck so far calico? i was thinkin about buying the ps3 20 gig and then just upgrading the hdd like your doing. keep us posted, please?

Thanks for the info all, I will check out that partition thing and then remove it from the casing and try it on an IDE.

Kid 05, I picked up a 120 gig harddrive for my PS3 but am just waiting to install it once I get all my game saves off of it. I might just give up and switch out and start over on Call of Duty and Fight Night.
