According to the Pewter Report, the Buccaneers worked out former San Francisco 49ers WR Antonio Bryant on Wednesday.

Does anyone know the current status of AB?

The TB sportswriters are drooling over this one -- Why? Because the annual "Antonio Bryant is a changed man" article has been written over and over at each of ABs stops. All they need to do is change a few dates and locations and blammo, quittin' time.

I hate to see the guy in a situation like this. Tons of talent and I know he wants to be great but hes just to stupid to do anything about it.

I love AB but the guy needs to become worth the trouble before he makes trouble.

He's suspended for the first four games anyway. Would be a good training camp body for the bucs. I don't think there to happy with mike clayton. He regressed last season.

I am suprised no one is blaming BP for AB's problems. They are blaming him for everyone elses.

Only the first two games. His suspension started last year during the last two 49ers games. He will miss the first two this year to complete the suspension.

Gruden's looking at losing his job if the team doesn't do well. He might be desperate enough to sign AB. Still, after his and Keyshawn's blowup, maybe he doesn't want a ballisticly temperamental WR.

I notice Irvin and Deion have even stopped defending him these days. Now that's saying something.
