Former Florida State LB Dekoda Watson shining at the NFL Combine

Discuss This: Comments(1) | Add to del.icio.us | Digg it The NFL Combine is going down. And there are four former Florida State players there: WR Preston Parker (by way of North Alabama), CB Patrick Robinson, S Myron Rolle (by way of Oxford University) and LB Dekoda Watson.
And Watson is putting on a bit of a show.
He was a top performer in the 40-yard dash, the vertical jump, the 20-yard shuttle and the 60-yard shuttle.
-Watson’s 40 time was the second-best among linebackers. He ran a 4.56 there.
-His vertical jump was tied for second-best among linebackers. He reached 40 inches.
-He also tied for second at his position in the 20-yard shuttle, with a 4.11.
-And he was third in the 60-yard shuttle, with an 11.35.
In other combine news, CB Patrick Robinson is “a freak,” according to Orlando speed coach Tom Shaw. Robinson, of course, is hoping to become the first FSU player drafted in the first round since 2007.
