Sad News: Former #Titans    TE Frank Wycheck has passed away at 52 after falling and hitting his head in his home yesterday, his family announced.

Wycheck leaves behind two daughters and three grandchildren.

Wycheck was the hero of the “Music City Miracle” play against the #Bills, arguably the greatest play in #Titans    history.

Praying for the Wycheck family.

His family said they are also working with CTE research. So unfortunately he may have had issues leading to this. Incredibly sad. Way too young

“At this time, it appears Wycheck fell inside his Chattanooga, TN home and hit his head Saturday morning,” the statement reads. "He was found unresponsive that afternoon.”

Per the statement, the family "plans to work with experts for ongoing brain injury (TBI) and CTE research.”
