The spitting incident happened before he did anything positive in the game and is coming off a poor performance against the saints. I think it was the opposite, he wasn't feeling good about himself and Hall hit him below the belt with some personal insults.

I was at the game. Nothign really happened on that drive. After the pass to witten TO and Hall were jawing at each other but hall didnt really freak out to much


Now after TO burned him for a 51 yard touchdown and columbo had flattened hall to the ground earlier.
