Knile Davis, like Lattimore, is intriguing. Aside from injuries, they are top ten backs with lots of talent, but just can't stay healthy.

Le'Veon Bell of MSU ran a 4.52...that's a VERY good time for a man that big: he goes about 230 lbs and is roughly 6' 2" tall....very good time for him. His hands are exceptional and his feet and elusivity for a big guy are also special. He's going to be a good one for somebody. I hope he doesn't end up in DC or NY....I still say he'd be a VERY good compliment to Murray and he should be there in the 4th round for us at 18....that would be a great value pick.


Here are his stats for 2012. Of particular interest is the fact he had 382 carries to lead all of college football....thats 3...8...2 boys and didn't miss a down with an injury. Was also healthy for all of 2011 and 2010. THe kid is a horse, but the most impressive stat to me is that 922 yds were gained AFTER initial contact.....wow:

....my gosh, Martin(Tampa) and Morris (skins) ran very poorly last year and they were the top two rookie RB's....40 times are vastly overrated really....especially with regard to RB's. Look at Emmitt: even Marshall Faulk admitted that Emmitt had GREAT football speed on gameday but didn't do much in the 40. Same with Walter Payton: he was never a burner

Just shows how overrated 40 times are. Alfred Morris ran a 4.67 last year, his speed seemed to translate just fine....short yardage quickness and agility are both way more important than 40 times.

Look at the fastest guys running a 40, with exception to a rare few, most of them wont amount to much in the nfl.
