No one else seem to have brought up the fumble by Manning, caused by Ellis that would have set up 2 and 22, that was reviewed. That was a bad call, he clearly knock that ball loose on the cock back, Manning didn't have control of the ball when his arm was moving forward. Didn't directly cause us to loose but plays like that steal momentum.

I agree. I felt that was a clear cut fumble. The ball bounced off the back of his shoulder pads and never went forward. I was shocked the call was over turned.

How could they overturn that call?. Ellis clearly hit the ball.

didn't want to start a new thread for these complaints as well but these two plays peed me off as well. First being that sack called on Bledsoe before he was completely down and he completed the pass to Barber. That was a premature whistle it was only one guy trying to get him down from around the waist so why was the whistle blown so early. Then the ref running a screen for Plaxico on the opening drive.

That was an unfortunate call for us, but it was the right call -- or rather, it was called how the refs are told to call it. If the quarterback is being controlled by one defender and there is a second defender coming, they're told to blow the whistle. They don't want the second defender to get a free shot at a quarterback.

You don't see it often, so it figures that we'd have it called against us. Just like the "intentional grounding" last week for throwing the pass over the receiver's head. (Isn't that the OPPOSITE of grounding?)

Yet the defender still threw Bledsoe to the ground after the whistle had blown. Drew got the pass off and even the guys in the booth had said they may not have called him down if it where some other QB.

the refs were pretty awful last night, though that one block thrown on roy was top notch

That was SUCH a bs call!!! Clearly fumbled the ball!! His hand was going forward as the ball was coming out. When the announcers said that the head ref was the same guy who rulled that Polomalou's int last year in the AFC championship game was not a int, a chill went up my spine and thought to myself this guy is going to screw this call up and he did.....:bang2:

I agree there were some questionable calls but I'm not going to blame them for the Cowboys performance. (Not saying you are)

How about the in the grasp call on the ball Bledsoe hit MB III with? I was shocked because usually he drops like a bag of potatoes, but that would have made it 4th down from around teh 25. Instead we are punting out of the end zone, and they get the ball at our 36. Not sure if that ended up hurting us? That might have been when we picked Eli off in the end zone? Still a bad call.
