Eagle fans are blowing up twitter, begging their FO to get him signed. From what I can tell......he's out there UNSIGNED. Thoughts????

  • CORDY GLENNT, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT

    Bengals released OT Cordy Glenn.

Cincy attempted to trade him, but nobody was willing to give up assets for the veteran tackle. Glenn started 19 games over the last two seasons, grading out as PFF's No. 38 offensive tackle last year. An experienced 30-year-old, Glenn should have a market as a low-end starter this free agency period, but he may have to settle for a short-term deal.

Zack Martin to one of the T spots. Knight has done a good job filling in. I'd prefer him at RT and Zack at LT. Zack showed everyone he could easily make a pro bowl as a T.

CORDY GLENNT, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT

Free agent LT Cordy Glenn visited the Eagles.
The 30-year-old former second-round pick of the Bills could be an option to help solve the Eagles' left-tackle situation following the torn biceps to 2019 first-rounder Andre Dillard. Glenn's 2019 was ruined by a concussion, and he was released by the Bengals in March. He's appeared in just 23-of-48 games over the last three seasons due to injuries, but Glenn was previously one of the more solid left tackles in the sport when he was in Buffalo.

maybe.
i remember him at buffalo.
im surprised we haven't looked at ladrian waddle...fmr patriots OT...was with the bills last yr.

I'm saying it's probably more of a toss up than people think at first glance. I'll roll with the young guy who may improve with more reps.

We don't have the margin if he doesn't..........I mean a pull out the Chad Green Falcons tape if you like (lol).

Not to mention it one thing asking a swing to play a couple of games but 12??????

Wonder what Dalton thinks about him?

Do you not think he's better than Steel?
Steele is going to get someone hurt.

He has potential but I dont see how they can expect someone like him to play in the NFL right now....

At the same time they refuse to give him help, and Dak pretends it's still Collins out there w his awareness.

Sometimes I'm not entirely convinced Garrett has left the building.

To borrow a line from Mick Spags . . . why is he available if he's so good? I know -- I feel like kicking myself for saying that . . . :muttley:

Congrats for keeping up with what he did in the past, even though you may have googled it. Anyhoo, things, especially injuries, take a toll upon players in short order and other teams are left to wondering what might be left for them to offer. Here's hoping we're the very first to learn the truth! ;)

I'm not sure moving Martin is a slam dunk. Even this guy is guessing. Do we know Martin's willingness to switch? Remember the Eagles Lane Johnson comments a couple of years when they lost Peters and considered moving him from RT or LT. He says they talked about it but decided moving him would only create another change. So they chose stability over change 2 positions.

Find me a player who is actually decent and we can have that conversation. Glenn has only played 23 of the last 48 games, and wasn't very good in those 23. He's a backup level player who everyone wants to sign because its a recognizable name.

Give me the young guy, no one wants glenn for a reason.
