Eli is elite, he has won two SB's, and he did it all by himself. Dallas could barely sack the guy because he is so mobile and good.

Even though the Cowboys have won the last, what, four games against the Giants? The Cowboys better be ready for what Eli can do...he is G R E A T.!!

I will go along with Irvin is mad about Murray not being here. Usually he shows more sense then that. Give Randle or McFadden, or even Michael once he gets in the mix, a few 100 yard games, and he will come, back around.

But then it will be...well, late in the season and playoff push time....crap. well seems that Murray faded last year at that time, but they will ignore that.

OBJ can have his 90 yard record, as long as we win, who cares. Though that will all the media will talk about. A 90 yard meaningless record.
Like last year, we won, Dez had what 2 or 3 TD's and all they could do was talk about that stupid one handed catch.

Michael Irvin said that OBJ will beat his 90 yard receiving record against Dallas tonight.

He also said that Dez and OBJ will get the new record for most yards by two wrs at 376+ yards combined.

Mooch said OBJ will beat Boldens record of 216 yds in an opening game.

Would be an interesting night.

Was there that white flour in the room?

How can we if we don't have a running game? Reason he said we won't win the NFC EAST.

I don't know why he picked us. He didn't elaborate. When the NFL Network crew was picking SB winners, he picked us losing to Denver in the SB.

Irvin said all this on NFLN this morning for his Bold Prediction

I'm pretty sure it's just Irvin trying to get the team angry/motivated. Then again, getting over 90 yards wouldn't exactly be a bold prediction for a receiver like OBJ, especially in an NFCE opening game (which tend to be high scoring it feels like).

A few days ago he had us losing to the Colts.

I'm sick of OBJ. Seriously. They were showing clips of him on ESPN quitting on routes in the preseason because he didn't want to get hit. I know it's preseason but it's not a good look. I know he's good but some people act like he's in the Hall of Fame. Personally, I would love to see the Madden curse rear it's head. He'll probably have a good game because that's what happens to the Cowboys sometimes. But I am done hearing about him all day and his practicing one hand catches. That was a great catch and they still lost the game. C'mon with the game already

He's not elite... he's had elite games and has been excellent in Superbowls... there's a difference...

I am as optimistic about the pass rush as anyone, but I think people need to pump the breaks just a bit. We haven't played a minute of real football yet. Lets see what these guys do under the lights when it matters. I'll wait to anoint our new pass rush as significantly improved until I see it in action. At the moment, the only difference is (for four game at least) the addition of a rookie. A rookie who looked great in pre-season, but a rookie none-the-less.

Lol...you are right. At least he was on a team that helped him get those those SB's.

I wouldn't even say he's been excellent in Super Bowls. David Tyree bailed him out with a spectacular catch on a ball Eli threw up for grabs for his first SB.

Giants DL was the big reason they won those two SBs. Which is why I love what the Cowboys have done in that area and want them to keep Hardy longterm.

They had a good OL and power running game both years too. Eli got a lot of his numbers those years on PA.
