With Dallas finishing up a great draft, the last stage of the offseason starts. Now is the time for signing low cost free agents, rebound candidates or “pillow contracts” to give one year deals to FAs who didn’t get the big contract they were expecting early in free agency.
Dallas crushed this draft, with two immediate starters (with huge upside) in Rounds 1 & 2 along with four others who should serve as quality depth in their rookie years.
They didn’t reach for some positions like OT, so now the goal is to fill a few more positions with free agents on a pillow contract or a chance to rebound. In the past we did this with Darren McFadden, Jonathan Cooper, Rolondo McClain, and Jeremy Mincey.
From the look of the roster now it seems the spots they fill this way are Swing Tackle and depth signings at Guard, RB and LB. I can definitely see value signings happening at TE and CB & S depth also.

RB (4) – Zeke, Pollard, Olawale, UDFA or late FA signing
TE (3) – Jarwin, Bell, Shultz
