Way too early four round mock draft just to get to know the players. Fanspeak OnTheClock simulator using the Bills big board. None of these players will probably be there when we pick but they were this time so I took them.
24: R1 P24 C Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa
I truly believe that the offense started getting worse when we lost Travis Fredrick at center. Linderbaum could be the single best pick we could make to immediately upgrade the offense.
56: R2 P24 DL Phidarian Mathis - Alabama
Need to build the defensive front 7 and in round two Mathis is really good value. He had 9 sacks and 10,5 TFLs last year and has the arm length DQ likes.
88: R3 P24 RB Breece Hall - Iowa State
Not a big need on the surface but both Zeke and Pollard were injured last year and he's pretty good value here. Daniel Jeremiah ranks him 39th overall. He averaged 5.8 YPC last year and had 20 TDs.
"Hall is a big, smooth runner with outstanding patience and balance. He has a unique style -- almost walking to the line of scrimmage before finding a crease, getting skinny and exploding through. He has outstanding contact balance, absorbing defenders and driving his feet for extra yards. He is elusive in space. He doesn't possess elite top-end speed, but he still hits some home runs (SEE: first play from scrimmage vs. Kansas State). He is an outstanding weapon in the passing game as a clean route runner with exceptional hands. Check out his one-handed catch vs. Oklahoma. He is firm in pass protection, but has been late to identify blitzers at times. Overall, Hall has an ideal skill set for today's game."
126: R4 P24 EDGE Josh Paschal - Kentucky

No ranking on Josh but we get a lot of UK games here and he was a difference maker on that defense playing both inside and on the Edge with 5 sacks and 15 TFLs last year.
142: R4 P40 LB Quay Walker - Georgia
I don't know who our LBs will be next year but Walker should be good value on day three.
"Walker is an enormous off-ball linebacker (6-4, 240) with a nice blend of speed and physicality. In coverage, he is fluid and plenty fast enough to match up with tight ends and running backs. In zone coverage, he doesn't have great anticipation, but once he diagnoses what's happening, he closes quickly. When he rushes off the edge, he doesn't have much of a plan -- but his speed/effort is outstanding. He is a violent run defender; he attacks blockers, thuds off them and makes plays. He has exceptional burst and range on plays to the perimeter. Overall, Walker is a size/speed, run-and-hit linebacker with his best football still ahead of him."

I like this one. Well done.

If we drafted a RB in the 3rd round I would still make not getting Zeke and Pollard enough touches a priority over not getting the 3rd round RB enough touches.

Love top 2 picks, but don't think either will be near our range in each rd.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Linderbaum will be in an Eagles uniform next year. Hes retired Kelce's replacement.

Plus, the Eagles OG Brooks retired. They have Landon Dickerson who I think was a Center coming out, but has been playing OG. So, the Eagles could move Dickerson to Center, and go find a OG. Either way, Philly will more than likely take someone Dallas wants.
