Over half his 2020 salary is prorated signing bonus that they have to pay regardless of cut/trade so I don't see any logical reason why he wouldn't be on the roster for 2020

The question won't be whether he's released, the question will be will they pick up the 5th year option (I think the deadline for 5th year option is May)
