They'll be signing the extension is expected to be signed at halftime at this point.
They should start Rush against the tough team in Cleveland. Get the deal signed, then start Dak against the Saints. Similar to what they did in 2022 with his injury.

Nobody here's a "Dak homer."

You know how I can tell which side of this "debate" is the one full of losers???

Here's how.

Not ONE of us "Dak homers" has EVER said we'd leave and stop being Cowboys fans if Dak left.

That's literally ONLY the lower wrungs of the ladder: YOU, Puppydog, Charlie Brown, etc.

"Waaaaah, I'm leaving if Dak re-ups, you guyyssss!!!!"

Dang, those bookmarks backfired on you. Life comes at you fast, Angus.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:
I think you put an inadvertent G in Angus...

And you'll be back next week. At least you aren't threatening to leave.
After 30 years, where am I going? lol. It's such a Jerry thing to do though, right? His inactivity in the off-season cues moving on from Dak, and doing somewhat of a rebuild/retool. His pivot to possibly signing Dak would for most teams cue they are indeed "all-in", but our humble geriatric is sans clue how to make this team successful on the field. I hate the Iggles but they have done nothing but improve at every position since signing Hurts to his deal. The list of teams goes on, and here we are year after year. I truly believe that all this negativity would have ended years ago if Jerry would sell the team, or hire an actual GM.......this isn't even a fantasy, it's an impossibility

Yeah, I stopped worrying about Jerry a long time ago. It's more enjoyable that why...

He’s no brain surgeon, for sure.

*You know I love you WillieB… and I say all this from somewhere in the middle of the Dak disagreements…*

I don’t know what Brady says about Prescott… but his old coach Bill Belichick thinks pretty highly of Dak as a QB, and he feels the same about the entire Dallas offense with Dak as the QB. He looked at film of the Cowboys offense to make this video on the Dallas/Cleveland game on his YouTube channel.

Bill says: “Good QB. Good system. Well coached. Good OL. Great receiver. A lot of good complimentary players.”

He goes on to say: “This is good execution. It is well done.”

If you watch the entire video you’ll hear him talk - in strong terms - about how good of a QB Dak is.

Now, I’m pretty sure that Gronk knows more about the NFL than the people on this board… but I am 1000% sure that Bill Belichick does.

To hear what Belichick and Matt Patricia think about Dak, just watch the video from about 49:15 to about 50:30 to hear what I wrote.

Like I said, if you watch the whole thing you’ll hear a lot of Bill calling Prescott a good QB… but it is a very long video. If you do watch it though, it is clear that he thinks Dak is a good QB and he’s not just being polite to be nice.

If you do watch, the breakdown for tomorrow’s game starts at around 20:00 minutes in to the vid.

Prescott is a good QB.

We also shouldn’t pay him.
