Fowler signs with Seahawks

Was no place for him here unless he was signing for near the vet minimum. Fast forward 8 months and please don't criticize the Cowboys for "letting him go" if the Seahawks win a SB and he has a good year and then act like this was a big mistake. Letting him go is the right move. Seattle has a good defense. That is why players sometimes will do better there. I wish him the best.

That's because some seasons he can put up 10 sacks, like he did two years ago for Washington, and then other years he's a dud.
Makes you think that the coaching/scheme might be the reason? Lol

Too undisciplined for me. Too many times I watched him crash down inside, chasing a play fake and losing containment. A lot of easy 15 yd runs by opponents. Just give me a guy that does his job and doesn't chase stats

He had 10.5 sacks in 2025 under Quinn, but also played for Quinn in Dallas and Atlanta and the best he did was 6 sacks (the other three years were in the fours and threes). He had 11.5 sacks for the Rams in 2019, but just 4 sacks the previous season (including 2 for the Rams in eight games).

Now, some of it seems to be injury related. He wasn't completely healthy here last year. But I think he's just a hit and miss player.

Fowler's not a run defender, which is why Washington didn't try to re-sign him after he had 10.5 sacks. He sells out to rush the passer. I wouldn't expect Seattle to use him in anything other than nickel packages. Part of the problem here last year was that we started out depending on him on early downs. He's strictly a long-yardage guy. When he was with us under Quinn, he made 0 starts and that was probably the best use of him. He did start 7 games during his 10.5-sack season, but I also think that's one of the reasons, he wasn't re-signed. No run defense.

..good for him, I saw him more like splash player.
