I've read that not all games are presented in HD.
I was just referring to why the HD broadcast is sucky. Not all games are presented in HD. Regarding Fox, I've seen better HD broadcasts. CBS is pretty great.numnuts23;1771922 said:Well normally the boxes show up on the side when not in HD. I guess they've started upscalling their normal broadcast to stretch it and fill the screen![]()

Does it look bad for anyone else?

Its crapwarner then. If you can receive OTA, its really the best way to go to get true hdtv.numnuts23;1771964 said:Well i'm with crap warner, (tv is 1080p), but it's def. upscaled...not HD
I've got DTV and the HD package, and the game is not in HD.speedkilz88;1771978 said:Its crapwarner then. If you can receive OTA, its really the best way to go to get true hdtv.
I read an article about it awhile back, but maybe it's for cost reasons. Big game, then you get HD quality. Sucky game, standard quality.theogt;1771985 said:Why on earth aren't all games broadcast in HD? Seriously, are they that cheap?

If you go to nfl.com, you can see which games are broadcast in HD and the Texans aren't.
It's a better pic than the standard 480, but it's definitely not 720p or 1080i.
