My guess would be that the NO/CAR game is the national game because of how bad TEN is.
With NO you get an undefeated team with a great storyline and of course, Reggie Bush. With CAR you get the team trying to climb out of the cellar that was a national favorite to go to the SB.
in Dallas/TEN you get the TO story, which is of course huge. And the Dallas Cowboys, which of course are a huge draw....but they're playing the fooking lousy Titans. There's very, very few people outside of Nashville that give two craps about the Titans.
I can see their logic, although I would think the TO story would bump the Dallas game with signs pointing towards him being active.

People outside of NO and Carolina will be watching the game, because let's be honest.....if your team isn't on in that time slot, you'll watch anything the NFL feeds you. I will too. We're suckers like that.
