Fox: Kelly Clarkson takes subtle shot at Cowboys owner Jerry Jones

Anytime you hear cynicism from a true Cowboys fan, understand it's well deserved. The anticipation for it to really be the Cowboys year is growing thin. Kelly Clarkson is like any of us.

She is still around?
She is using Jerry and taking shots at him and the team (and rightfully so, she is not wrong) to keep herself in the news.
:muttley:

She learned from Jerry how to try to keep yourself relevant.

Stephen A. Smith made a career over it.

Apparently you don’t keep up with pop culture in 2025. Kelly is “more around” now than she’s ever been.

Clarkson needs to do less talking, plus spend less time eating at the trough, while spending more time at the gym.

No more Thanksgiving performance invites for Kelly now. :muttley:

Not sure if I've ever listened to a Kelly Clarkson song, although I know who she is.

She's just saying what all the fans say. Can't wrong her for that. Hey Jerry, I thought you said this last year, and the year before, and the year before..... No results coming until Jethro croaks.

For even the most casual of fans, it's plain to see that the Dallas Cowboys team is a joke. Not even a very funny one, at that. One fine day, Jerry will wake up and realize it's past time for him to step aside.
Jerry is like a 3rd world dictator. He’ll die of natural causes before ever relinquishing control.

FYI she's looks great these days. She has lost a great deal of weight. You don't like what she said? What's wrong with it or do you even know? I bet you just thought you would tell the fat girl to have a seat and shut up. How piggish of you.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has never been one to follow the NFL’s standard playbook. Whether it’s marketing deals, league politics, or contract negotiations, Jones prefers to do things his own way.

However, his latest move — bypassing agents and negotiating directly with his stars — has Micah Parsons pushing back. With contract talks already tense, Jones’ reluctance to engage with Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, is only adding fuel to the fire.

A player is offered a top level contract, even , and that player says he owes his agent top priority and not his BOSS!

That's it, demand a vote....true non-democracy?

No thanks, just play the sport and fire off on your opponent. Ever enjoyed a boxing match? I enjoy football and not just winning....thank you.

For someone who is supposed to be a Cowboys fan, she sure doesn't act like it. Just like the masses of you in here.

First point is I can’t stand the Kelces. And second point I do not have any Cowboys friends say this is our year. We expect the same as the last 29 from JJ.

I dont think real deal Cowboy fans are delusional, at least not any more. Lol

The casuals buy the media/Jones family hype, although most people have woken up to the fact we are colossal disappointments.

Robert Griffin III weighs in on Micah Parsons’ future with the Cowboys

Robert Griffin III gave a controversial take on Micah Parsons’ future with the Dallas Cowboys. The franchise loss of DeMarcus Lawrence has given the star linebacker a lot more leverage in contract negotiations. It is currently unclear whether Parsons, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026, and the Cowboys will reach an extension over this offseason. Talks between the two parties have heated up over the past few days, but Griffin III believes that the four-time Pro Bowler should be requesting a trade. The former NFL QB made his thoughts clear in a this post on Twitter that is definitely going to rile up Cowboys fans.

Listen up, Parsons. Don't sign a contract and demand to be traded. I hope Jerry, since you are not being loyal to team and offered the highest salary going...I hope he trades your lame butt. Ask for Bro Griffin to be YOUR Union Rep.

Management henges on principals and procedures. Not popular stereotype and prejudice. I like Jones and don't kiss his butt...thank you Mr. Fan!

It seems like people from all walks of life are fed up with the Jones boys’ antics. How many shots have been taken at the Cowboys this year? Feels like a lot.

At least 95% of fan, media, and general comments on Jerry Jones are negative. Yet there is an impression that it is a brave original thing to do, instead of what it really is: more of the same we have heard for years and years.

I'm having a difficult time interpreting what this has to do with casual fans predicting another championship season over and over.

I understand you love Jerry, but it still seems irrelevant.

Jerry doesn't care. All he sees/hears is a celebrity talking about the Cowboys. He doesn't actually hear what they are saying though.
