Don't like Harris.

Jackson at 60 is nice. Johnson in the 3rd is nice. I like Nicholson and Ross. But Harris would be a big buzz kill.

That's amazing.

Harris is very underrated on this board. One of the pure pass rushing DEs in this draft.

Jackson at 60 is a no-brainer, Jaleel my fav DT in the draft, and Henderson is an exciting player

Pretty shoddy against the run, disappointing combine results, he shows little strength often using his athleticism to beat OTs (in the NFL he's going to run into OTs that can take away some of his athletic advantages), his last season was not as good as his previous one. He seems like a pure pass rush specialist, which we could use, but I am not sure that's worth the 28th pick.

That being said, I've seen some reports saying he could go as high as 14 to the Eagles.

I'd take Harris/Jackson 1-2
Both could go 1st round in the real world.

Same goes for Tre White/ Tyus Bowser as well.
Both work

I don't like Harris either. I am tired of these so called athletic pass rusher that use their speed. He is lightweight, and that may work in college, but does not always translate so well in the NFL.
The majority of his sacks came against inferior college talent, where all he had to do was out run the OL.
He had 2...TWO...sacks from using a bull rush, and that too was probably against inferior talent.
And we need a player or players that can bull rush. Last time i checked, we don't have one, unless Irving can become that guy.

We need a player with some weight on him, can also play the run. No more of these specialty pass rusher. I know they rotate players in, but they need guys that can go 3 or 4 downs if needed at times also.

With a draft this deep at safety, I'll be really disappointed if we only come away with a scrub like Montae Nicholson.

Then, there's Jaleel Johnson. Nice player, but will not beat out Maliek Collins. I would have much preferred somebody like Cooper Kupp, Daeshon Hall, or Jourdan Lewis who were all taken right after that pick.

And I realize Fred Ross is a popular pick just because he played with Dak. But he is not an NFL WR. A wasted pick. If they wanted to take a 2nd WR, they should have went with Josh Malone, Jehu Chesson. Both of those guys will at least have a fighting chance to make a roster and contribute, rather than just be a camp body cut at the end like Ross.

Overall, I like the first two picks. But none of the rest. I'd bet our last three picks are destined for UDFA.

When you look stupid this draft you realize how deep this draft really is
If it falls this way I would realky be trying to trade down into top of Rd 2 with an extra Rd 3 pick if I can

This is why Taco, even though he's not a speed rusher, intrigues me so. I guess I'm having flashbacks to the good 'ole 90's and early 2000's when your RDE checked in around 6'5"-6'6", 265-275 and your LDE was around the same height, but weighed around 280. Think Reggie White and Sean Jones (GB) or White and Clyde Simmons (PHI). They could abuse the pocket and stop the run all day (unless the played Dallas ). I keep having visions of Taco at RDE and Irving at LDE on 1st and 2nd down, with Irving kicking in to 3T and Taco at LDE on passing downs.

And, NO, I don't think there is a Reggie White clone anywhere close to the DFW area.
