I have a blog post that goes live soon concerning this, but I thought I would post it since I think it could have significant legal implications and set some interesting precedent for the league.

Source Story: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...tlement-mike-garafolo-072715?vid=492013635529

  1. If Brady prevails, how does it affect other players' suspensions or loss of job? Will players like Peterson, Rice, or Hardy then be able to file a lawsuit against the NFL for wrongful deprivation of property, i.e. wages, or seek some other judicial remedy?
  2. If Brady prevails, how does it affect players' rights moving forward? Will the NFL/Goodell finally have its hands tied when it comes to the personal conduct policy, since any player would then be able to negotiate a settlement in lieu of suspension?
Interesting stuff. I'll be watching this one closely.
