NFL rookie power rankings — Week 5

While Carson Wentz had to sit in Week 4 due to the Eagles’ bye, the Cowboys’ rookie dynamic duo continued to put on a show and challenge Wentz’s spot at the top. So did Dak Prescott or Ezekiel Elliott leapfrog the Philly star?

2 Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys
If not for a one-point loss in Week 1, Prescott would have the Cowboys undefeated. The rookie still hasn’t thrown an interception and has accounted for five touchdowns. The fourth-round pick has thrown three touchdowns in the past two games and it seems like no one is pining for Tony Romo.

Passing stats: 89 of 131, 1,012 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs Photo: Mark Tenally

1 Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys
While the quarterbacks are getting all the attention, Elliott is proving why the Cowboys took him fourth overall in April. The 21-year-old is leading the NFL in rushing and has scored in three of his first four games. After failing to reach 100 rushing yards in each of his first two games, Elliott has eclipsed that mark the past two weeks.

Rushing stats: 94 carries, 412 yards, 3 TDs

Same here, especially as an LSU alum. Kendell Beckwith is another Tiger coming out next year and I think he has more potential than Jones. Not as rangy but has incredible instincts at an ideal LB size (6'2, 250lbs). Was originally projected for round 3 but is balling out this year and will likely rise to round 2.

Point out just ONE thread that says: "I miss Romo/i cant wait till romo gets back/ we need romo".

This isnt last year. And the threads show it.
Threads don't equal entire fanbase.

I would argue that this forum is a pretty accurate microcosm of the dallas cowboy fanbase at large.

I disagree. This forum makes up a very small percentage of fans. Everyone who is a Cowboys fan does not use this website. I don't remember how I found this site but I had never heard of it till 2012.
