Franchise dysfunction always ruins it

It wasn’t until George Steinbrenner was suspended did the Yankees build a modern 90’s 00’s dynasty Ring after ring WS after WS - Gene Stick Michael brought a philosophy to the team as GM - - which honestly Carries on until this day in terms of being in the mix.
The Yankees haven’t been below 500 since 1992.

The constant in Dallas - a once Yankees like franchise is that Steinbrenner era like dysfunctional leadership.

And no matter how much talent we have - dysfunction always ruins it.

Whether it’s Wade Philips letting players Goto Cabo , Jason Garret going to JJ to get Wade fired , over 100 law enforcement issues , trading star WR’s for 5 th round picks -, trading away #1’s - wondering aloud that Dan Quinn could be the head coach one day to the media - being restrained from drafting Johnny manziel .
Giving a washed up RB a monster second contract - paying a good QB like an elite QB - it all trickles down on the field and eats away at the team.

Dak threw for 5k & 37 TD’s last year a lot owed to Amari Cooper who was never replaced .
Well that 4th & 4 was a lot easier to cover Sunday for GB because of dysfunction.

Many believe the owner wants us to fail to bring in Sean Payton. Dysfunction

Dak not taking Blame - dysfunction - Jerry doing talk shows - dysfunction- Stephen Jones doing talk shows - dysfunction.

A decade of Jason Garrett even when ex players will tell the stories of the mess .

So we all get excited when we are 5-1 , 6-2 yearly but we know it’ll all go south soon.

No matter how good we are and Damn we were 12-5 last year but we all felt SF would beat us - we never believed.
Why ? We were at home and we were scared !

We are a crippled entity- hamstrung by our own owner and his simpleton son .

I never refer to those buildings in Frisco as the Star. It's DYSFUNCTION JUNCTION.
 
Why does Jerry need the team to fail to bring in Payton? He can mortgage the future of the team this evening and have him in the Star tomorrow AM. Oh, and not get any better results.

He’s not spent any money to help McCarthy.
He let a 1299 WR go for zero and they lost a top flight pass rusher .
Plus Cedric Wilson etc .
Imo he’s working against his coach .

This dysfunctional front office puts us at a competitive disadvantage.
We will never win the Lombardi as long as this continues.

do you know how many points we averaged in the two mentioned playoff games vs the Rams and Niners? 19.5 points... Would it have mattered if the Ram and Niners scored more than 19.5 points to beat the Cowboys through the air? Hate to say it but in an offensive era of football I would hope your franchise QB could step up and guide you to more than 20 points a game in the playoffs..

I agree that results wouldn’t be better
I don’t think Payton is the god of coaching some do
He won with talented teams
Most of the HC in the nfl can win with talented rosters
The guys that impress me are the ones who win without a talented roster
The browns were bad under bellicheck but he showed he could get the most out of talent. Parcels got to the playoffs with QC
That’s the kind of coach I like

I don’t think Sean Payton is an upgrade either .

I also think the next cowboys coach will be a jones - irsay like curveball, Witten Head coach - Jason Garrett OC.
Yep - I wouldn’t put it past JJ to go back to JG as an OC.

Do you know what the time of possession was?
You can’t score if the other team’s offense is eating up the clock with long drives.

Also Connor Williams with 10 holding penalties was playing LG.
 
And when we take a CB or WR in the next draft in the 1st round, you'll know nothing has changed.

Bbbbbbbut, we just had to have Lamb. So we can lose in the playoffs again because we can't stop the run? Great idea.
