Fred Jackson to Seattle

They must have really soured on Michael if they're settling for Freddie.

Get ready for more Cowboys fans to be upset while we ignore available players and stick with McFadden, Randle and Dunbar.

Outside of Adrian Peterson getting cut I don't see anything that would make the Front Office admit the mistake they made.
Stubborn until the end.

Interesting. I wonder if we have any interest in a younger back. My guess is there'd be a practice squad spot for somebody, at best, at this point.

So which RB do we release. Randle (the only one who has shown he can be somewhat healthy), McFadden (the only one who can pick up a blitz) or Dunbar (Primary KR)?

It's interesting. A lot of people spent the offseason envious of the SEA position depth at RB. And then they (likely) pick up a player that we pass on for no other reason than they must think he's an upgrade for them. Jackson gives you nothing on ST. Turbin is going into a contract year, but with Jackson at 34 years old, he's a year-to-year player now, so you don't get any additional coverage there. Michael can't pass protect well enough and will put the ball on the ground. I think he's probably the one on the way out if he's not traded for a late pick before cut downs.

And I wonder if we show interest, then. Probably enough to put him on the PS. He's not going to replace Dunbar, though, and if he's not replacing Dunbar, there's no room for him at the inn.

Hey you guys know what time the rue train passes by here?

It's not a train, it's a rue-carousel. It never stops, though, so you have to rue as best you can and then try to jump on. The running back horse is the easiest one for a beginner to mount, or so I've heard.

It is interesting but, the two situations are a little different IMO. We both run physical running games and they have multiple backs who do this fairly well. We don't really have a proven back who we can count on in short yardage or who can come in and spell the starter if injured in the power game. They can afford to look at a back who might offer something different. We are looking for a guy who can bring that so it is a bit different situation I think but yeah, you make a good point Idgit.

Give it time. One of these 3 will get injured at some point. And if they don't, good for us!
