FRED TAYLOR ARRESTED

Posted by Michael David Smith on August 30, 2008, 4:45 p.m.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor was arrested early this morning and charged with disorderly conduct outside Club Cristal, a Miami Beach nightclub.
There is little known about the circumstances of the arrest; we called the Miami Beach Police Department today and were not able to get any information because the records division is closed for Labor Day weekend.
Taylor was not taken to jail and was released on his own recognizance with a promise to appear in court.
The 32-year-old Taylor is entering his 11th NFL season, all with the Jaguars. Also arrested this morning in unrelated incidents were Taylor’s former teammate Jimmy Smith and Panthers cornerback Ricardo Colclough.

NFL players should really think twice about going to nightclubs. Now im not saying they shouldn't be able to go to clubs. But they need to realize that its not a good situation for them to be put in. People who have been to night clubs know what is going on. A bunch of drunken men with testosterone levels higher than the moon, trying to score with the chicks in the club.

Yeah, especially when you take their woman that they were dancing with. Influence that with alcohol, you are in a dumb situation and forced to get into a altercation.

Yup happens all the time, especially in the parking lot. aww miss them days.

If Zoners could go to jail for a certain amount of bad posts DaBoys4Life would be locked up.

Wait a minute... Edunce has been gone for awhile. Maybe............. Nah

I think start are particularly vulnerable in these situations for two reasons:

1. They are (usually) spoiled and used to getting their own way because they were the big men on campus. They think they should be afforded the same concessions in real life.

2. If a jerk recognizes someone as a star they figure they can cash in big if they can goad the money man into assaulting them.
