But to say the Ravens would hatch up a scheme and risk the bad PR among owners and the public or someone finding out to save their draft picks that the NFL maybe could take away anyway is a lot of leaping to make just based on opportunistic optics that "every filthy, lying scum would jump at that." They have opted out of signings on smaller scales in the past. How much more careful would you be on a larger scale? A wise book says "he that is faithful in little, is faithful in much." The Ravens have precedence of operating that way (and avoiding being burned) on their side. Crosby's not special in that regard.

The NFL can’t take anything away. What the Ravens did was unethical but not illegal.

And if you want to jump through all of these hoops, twist, contort, and willfully ignore the evidence stating you in the face, that’s on you.

bridges were burned, how much has it burned will be up to other NFL GM's and how they conduct business with the ravens.

Don't think I'm twisting anything. I'm only dealing with the facts of history and the facts of what we know in this situation. It's the people saying they know what was in the Ravens' minds regarding the physical and a lesser-priced Hendrickson that are the potential twisters of anything. If a physical failure can't be proven, neither can nefarious intentions of failing a guy to sign another guy. Have the Ravens reversed deals based on physicals in the past? Yes. Did they reverse this deal based on a physical? Yes. That's what we know. The rest is just people believing what they want to believe with no proof. I'm just here to ask the logical questions and perhaps provide other possibilities to a situation the majority have made up their minds about. Not unlike anything else I do around here, lol.

If they are in on Sweat, they might be out on Greenard. Sweat makes more sense for them. Greenard makes more sense to us having played for Dixon

Now watch them trade for Greenard and we trade for Sweat

He’s under contract for $19 million per year two more seasons. He wants more. Minnesota told him find a team willing to pay him more. I’d imagine Philly would give up a third for him, but they have to do some tap dancing with the cap to afford him.
 
Sweat or Greenard would be a nice get, even if we had to give up the 3rd from Osa.
They are both really good players.
Greenard wants a new deal though.
